Back to School

Back to school.
Back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool.
I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight. Oh!
Back to school... back to school... back to school.
Billy Madison

I love that movie! I've been singing it for 2 days!

Mama's  little  kindergartner!

He just loved his new book bag!!!

After I dropped him off I went to Walmart and got me a huge notebook to put all of his 4k artwork  in that has been taking over one of my kitchen cabinets.

Here's a few of my favs!

I know I'm tired! I will have to get back use to getting up early! No more staying up till 3 am watching Big Brother after dark!!!

Have a good Monday!

Hi Jennifer! Wow! You guys go back to school early! We still have a few more weeks but I am already emotional about my little guy starting 1st grade. :-( Little boys and their mommas are sure something special! Good luck on the new routine!

Oh how cute!!! My last baby starts 4k in a couple weeks, and I am really having a hard time with it! He is all excited about it, though. We are also going to have to change the routine here! We have been staying up until 3-4 recording because it's quiet then, but that will have to change!

So sweet! My baby will be in 11th grade this year. We don't start until this Thursday. Your notebook binder is a great idea. I have boxes in the attic with there old artwork from the younger years. Such a precious time! Your little one looks so cute and excited, I hope he has a wonderful first day!

Awwwww! How cute is he with that big back pack?!? I love the notebook binder. I am trying to do better and throw away some, but keep the ones I love.

I have a friend who has a plastic tub and she just puts them in there. At the end of the year, she puts a big sheet of construction paper on it to separate it from the next year. I have it all shoved in a cabinet!

I also thought about taking pictures of all the artwork, making a book of it at the end of the year and just keep a few favorites. We will see how that goes!!!

He looks so excited for his first day to begin. Thank you for sharing some of his artwork. It made me smile as it has been a long time since Jordan was that young.

Happy Monday to you, too! La

Jennifer, he is so cute all ready for school. That is a great idea putting his artwork in a notebook. Have you ever thought of framing some of it and hanging it on the wall to enjoy. When I worked at a Pediatrician's office they took some of the patient's art and had them framed with bright colored mats and they were so cute.

Awwww, he looks so clean and handsome and not the least bit nervous!

My baby is going to be a junior this year but he still has a few weeks to go. The other two have graduated...how did that happen so fast...sniffle sniffle:(

We are all night owls around here, with me being the worst of the bunch. But my kids get it honestly I must confess. Needless to say, morning hours do NOT work well for us...ha! Your lil' boy is such a cutie Jennifer! :o)

So sweet! Can you believe you have a little Kindergarten-er?

Yep, I still have my 2 children's papers from k - 12th grade. Love looking back on those times. Even their college year books Ü They are 36yrs. and 41yrs. old now, lol. Enjoy your little man. He is a doll.

Thanks for visiting me over at Pittypat Paperie and leaving a nice comment.

Awwww LOVE your little Kindergartner! Is your little guy doing Montessori K too? I have heard great things about Montessori in general!
And great idea on the artwork too! I have a big plastic bin with a lid that I store a few "specials" from each child every year after it is done being displayed :)
