Move Over Martha!

I wish!
This month's magazine of Martha Stewart Living was the inspiration of the photos below!
I love the Fourth of July and we go all out too! I had a lot of fun recreating these pictures.
Thanks Debbie for getting me off my rear!

This month's issue shows you how to decorate your bicycle and wagons in a fun patriotic way.

Here's my take!

Here's Martha's

I had my handsome little man get in the action too!

Patriotic bucket of fun!

My house. Just pretend there's a bunch of people out there!
Oh, pretend the grass is cut too! ;)

Pretty cool! Here's a bunch of photos from the shoot.

I made a cushion for his wagon about 6 years ago.
I decorate it every year.

My old rusty wagon has changed so much in 1 week!

Makes me happy!

Makes me smile!

Happy Fourth of July to everyone!!

Stay Safe and have fun!

A Free Vacation

I've been busy since Thursday going through my house.
I'm not sure why I always wait till the last minute to do things.
I've always been that way. ;) Anyway, I sold at the auction on Friday
and Saturday night and at the Flea Market on Sunday morning.

This is just a sample! I filled my Commander slam full all 3 days and still have stuff left!

I'm one tired workin' junkin' girl right now!
Was it all worth it? Heck yeah!
I'm able to take our family on vacation for FREE!
Doesn't get any better than that!

Sorry no deck pictures. All the cupcakes was gone by that night except for 3!
Umm....I made 24!

Have a wonderful week and go clear out some junk and do something nice for yourself!
You deserve it!

Our Carolina Porch 2011

Welcome to our summer porch!
My porch is my favorite part about our home.
I love it decked out in red, white and blue!
I can't wait to see other porches!

Cute little rusty wagon to greet you!
There's Pesky the Rooster! Thanks Jane!

Here's the other side of the porch.

My dad made me this chair last year for my birthday.
I love it!

We love our state flag!
Palmetto pride!

Here's my poor Japanese Maple tree. Something is killing it.
Any help on saving a tree?

I bought the banner rug from ebay. Sold by Collections Etc.

Well that's all!

Don't look to close! There's spider webs everywhere!
To bad Halloween is a few months away!

I hope you enjoyed our porch!
Have a wonderful week!

Country Whimsical

A new wreath for the front door was in need!
I couldn't find a patriotic wreath I liked,
so I threw this together. I call this look Country Whimsical.
I think the name fits!

I'm going to try to find some geraniums to add to it. If not, I'm happy with this look.
I used a grape vine wreath from Wal-mart and some poly deco mesh ribbon for my bow.

Looks good on the red door!

While I was taking pictures my little one wanted his picture taken.

He just got a new hair cut today! That's why he has a blue mouth. He was a good boy!

Have a wonderful week everyone!
Can't wait to show you the rest of my porch!

This Little Barn of Mine

Saturday,
I decided to head back to a little town that I'm from to go to the their antique shops on Main St.
It's my new favorite happy place! I was like a kid in a candy store on Saturday!

I just knew I had to have it! The owner was happy for me too!

The husband did not understand why in the world did I bring home a rusty metal barn. He also really rolled his eyes when I told him I paid $20 dollars for it! It was just love at first sight! He should be use to this now! Rusty tricycle here and rusty wagon here.

I knew exactly what I was going to do with it as soon as I saw it!

It's going to be a bird feeder!
Tina, from Cherry Hill Cottage made one from a metal doll house here!
I just love her blog! You will fall in love too!

Meet my newest obsession!
Do you see him?

How about now?

I don't know much about them really. I just know I love them! I think they're called elf knee huggers?  There made in Japan in the 1950's. I hope to have a little tree full of them! He was $3.00!

Look at this cute face!

I had a fun day! I hope I can get back there sooner!
Did you find any new loves?
Have a wonderful week and I hope it's full of sunshine for you!

xoxo
