Better late than never! Right?!
We went to Gatlinburg for the 4th.
We ate at Bubba Gumps again this year wasn't impressed.
This is our son and our friends 4 kids watching them make candy! So sweet!
Parade at 12am!
We ended up having to find another hotel room due to our baby kept going out the door! They had no dead bolt or chain on the door. It took us 4 hours to find another room with vacancy. It could of took less if we wanted to stay in a horror film room. Then the baby screamed all night LONG! He has never did that before. I
Oh well! I did pass my goal of selling junk for a completely free little trip though!
Have a great Friday!

I love Gatlinburg. We're going next month. I heard they had a new Titanic exhibit or something like that. Your free trip sounds good though!
GOOD FOR YOU!
You did it!
you made a debt-free trip!
I admire that SO much!
Right now I am selling like crazy (inspired again, by you! I have taken a year off, and had so much stuff to sell and when I saw you doing it, well, I thought I needed to get with the program) on eBay, etsy, Amazon and Craigslist.
I am paying off my daughter's braces, and I am the boss!
I love it!
4 hours to find a hotel! Wow.
I bet you slept well when y'all got home :)
Looks like you had fun despite the inconveniences--in the future you may have to ask ahead of time if there are bolts on the door, LOL!
Hugs, sweet lady!

P.S. Thank you for the birthday wishes for my 16 year old Lu.
That is awesome that you paid for your trip!!! And you are ADORABLE!!! And yoru boys are beautiful!
And we had a VERY similiar experience when my boys were 2 1/2!! We rented a "trailer" at an RV park (the park was awesome though) but it only had a sliding glass door as the "front door". Well it took my son Kris about 3 seconds to figure out how to open it and he was running our constantly!!! Finally my hubby tied his belt around the handle of the door to the sink faucet!! Every night I kept saying, BOY I hope there is not a fire, LOL!!! :)

I am sorry to hear things worked out the way they did for you..frustrating isn't it! Atleast you did prove to yourself that you can set a goal for something and get there. That is something to be proud of! As you heard we have had our share of looser places as well as a few winners. It sure is a gamble! Good luck with the beach trip! Oh, and I have to agree with the others, you are adorable indeed, I can tell where you boys get their good looks! :))
Jennifer... We like the Smoky Mountain Brewery Restaurant... It's on the end where Calhouns is. Check it out if you get a chance next time. They might be online? Sorry about the room... I wish Gatlinburg had better upgraded hotels than what they do. But gotta love the candy stores!! :)
