My Newest Flea Market Find

This year I haven't really been hitting the markets or yard sales.
Due to gas, the heat, and just wanting to sleep in.
I went Saturday and I'm so glad I did! I found a old galvanized watering can!
I love watering cans new and old.

It's huge and the best part is it was only $15.00!
I'm a happy girl! Can't wait to dress it up!

Speaking of getting big. My girls are growing so fast!

Have a good week everyone!

Great find! OK, I now it's been a while since I've been over here, but you have chickens now? I'll have to catch up.

I love the watering can. I have an old watering can with a different shape, but it kinda matches it. My husband actually threw it into the trailer filled with junk to go to the dump. I walked by it when I was going to feed the chickens and almost had a heart attack. He thought it was junk. Can you imagine?
Your girls are lovely? What breeds are they? I have two like those, which are Buff Orpington and Black Austrolorpe, among others. Aren't they fun?
Have a great week! If you ever have any chicken questions, feel free to ask. I can give you my number.

How funny Jennifer! Well, I think the lighter one is a Buff Orpington. If it gets pretty big you will know it is. They are considered the "Marmaduke" of chickens, big, friendly, easy going! The other I don't know, there are probably tons of black ones, but mine is a Black Austrolorpe. If the earlobes are colored you will have brown eggs. For sure the buff will. Probably the other too, but till you know what it is who knows? You should find out, or check out the county fairs this summer and try to find one that is identical! Have fun, and if you have questions just give me a ring!

Looks like your chickies really love it there. I haven't been to many yard sales either. Just don't need much stuff.

Great score Jennifer! And I love it on that sweet yellow chair. Such a welcoming porch.
My girls are too big - and I'm not talkin' about chickens!

I have a can just like that. Got it from my great aunt's estate along with one other. My family laughed at me for taking those old cans. And just a few weeks later, I saw one in an antique shop for $95! Guess who got the last laugh there!!!
