Did you know army men do spilts?

In my son's world they DO!
I always go into to his room at night and kiss him goodnight again before I go to bed. Well, to my surprise I walked in his room and found army men doing splits all over the floor!
I have no idea why the are naked either!
This one kinda looks like my father in law!

Night night baby!
I hope you are having fun dreaming of tough fighting army men that also can do splits!

Have a good Tuesday ladies!

That is hilarious! When we go in to check on our son before we go to bed we are always stepping on Legos! Isn't it funny to wonder what is going on in their little minds? I probably don't want to know most of the time! :-)

omg you crack me up!!
that is too funny, maybe there was a war on gymnastics the army men had to fight...and somehow lost their pants? i'm sure there's a logical reason for the splits and nakedness!! hahaha
too cute!

I love this! It brings back such sweet memories! My 16yr old son used to carry trinkets around with him all the time and one of those was the leg to a army "dude" (as he called them). Just the LEG!!!
Your son is precious!

That is hilarious!! I have 3 grown boys now, but this sure brought back memories! Not that I remember the army men doing splits. lol I do remember one of my daycare girls constantly taking the heads off all of the lego people. All the time, didn't even seem to have a reason. It drove my Asperger son crazy. He had to have everything organized. Legos in organized containers, seperated and all. He knew where everything was in the playroom. So he really didn't like it when all the heads were constantly gone. lol
Thanks for sharing your story and giving me such a good laugh!
Great blog! Following.... :-)

Jennifer that's hilarious! Wouldn't you just love to get inside their little heads sometimes? Have you been watching Jersey Housewives lately? I sure hope the rest of the world doesn't think all Jersey Girls are like that! About the only thing I have in common with those women is I like big hair too!

Very funny! No, I did not know Army men could do spits but I do recall my barbies doing splits all the time! LOL! Maybe they were naked because the pants were keeping them from doing splits properly! haha! Thanks for the visit today and your sweet comments. I have to tell you I wasn't suprised to hear you had a little red rocker! It totally fits your personality! Warm and outgoing!

Hi Jennifer,

I have two sons also. I blinked and they turned into teenagers. The 18 year old will be heading off to college in a few weeks. I sure do miss the days of their playing with toy soldiers. Love your blog. Thanks for stopping by mine.

Take care,

Marlee

Jennifer aka Kelly, if you would take the no reply off of your comments I could answer you straight back to your email. Those sconces are Southern LIving at Home products and you may be able to find them on ebay. I think I bought one from my sister when she use to sell them and I ordered two on ebay. Cheaper on ebay, too. Just type in SLAH in the search box or Southern Living At Home and it should have a bunch to look at. Too narrow the search, type in Florentine sconces. These come with a lid to put on them to use as a platform for decorative items or take the lid off and put greenery in them. Kind of cool. Hope you find them.
