Houston, we have a FLOOR!

I have been working on this hot mess of a closet today! I could not see the floor it was that bad! I had amazon boxes galore from Christmas time, clothes I had forgot about (like 4 black tank tops!), even found some new drawers! ha! I forgot to take a before picture, but here's the floor! Finally!

Here's the crap that came off the floor!
I also have a pretty good collection of shopping bags! I keep all the good ones for when I go to resell stuff! Weird, huh?! I want them to feel special when they carry there new goodies in a nice bag!
I promise I'm not a crazy hoarder person!
I still have to go through my clothes now. Who needs 20 pairs of jeans when only 4 fit?! I also need new hangers bad! I will update when I finished! This sista needs to make some money! Vacation is coming up soon! ;)

Do you collect bags too?!  Or am I crazy?!

You can't beat a good shopping bag. I can so relate to seeing your floor. It is a rare and mysterious phenominom (I can't spell) in my closet. BTW, I went grocery shopping today and spent $213 but saved $158! Not to shabby for a newbie! I still have questions for you but can't seem to stay on track these days. One day when my mind returns I will drive you crazy with questions!

Best of luck with cleaning out!

My oldest daughter collects shopping bags...I'm always teasing her about this! While she was in college and I moved her about 6 times...I finally told her that some of those bags needed to go to BAG HEAVEN...I was so not going to move them back to my house...four years later:) Hope you have a FUN WEDNESDAY!

Blessings,
Linda

Oh Jennifer, I am glad someone's closet looks like mine. I would not show any of my closets to anyone. I have got to clean out, too. I do save a couple of bags in case I have any returns to make. Good luck with finishing yours and then you can come help me with mine!

I cleaned our closet out last month and we haven't even lived in this apartment for a year yet! I need to work on my cupboards next. I save shopping bags and gift bags too, they come in handy:)

Isn't that a great feeling to do some purging in the closet?! I save bags, too...does that mean we are bag ladies? Anyway, they are usually so sturdy and useable...seems like a waste to throw them out. Recycle! Thanks for your sweet comments on my MIL. Linda

Hi Jennifer,
I have the WHOLE bottom of my pantry for my bags--I do re-use them and send stuff along with my girls when they go out, or return stuff to friends, or send Mark's lunch to work in them.
So, no, you aren't crazy!
You are organized!!
I am in Spring Clean/Organize mode, too!
It's too hot to go outside as you know... it's almost pool weather!
Blessings to you today!

Hey Jennifer, thanks for the comments on my great room. The baby pictures are still out just in a different spot.

I cleaned out my craft room the other week and the stuff is still siting in my bedroom floor! My husband isa going to have a yard sale for me because i don't have yard sales, I go to them! I had to ask my sister where the 'yellow mall and Jesus store' was. She immediately told me Gaffeny. Duh! Howdy neighbor!

Hey girl! I just wanted to tell you how sweet you were to offer to do Luke's banner for me! I just can't get over it! haha But actually I think I want to do it myself only because I think it will be really fun to try! I found this link that shows how to revamp a $ Store banner and I'm totally going to try it:http://littlenannygoat.blogspot.com/2010/02/birthday-banner-redo.html.

But if you have more cute party links I would love it if you'd pass them on! Have a great 3-day weekend!

OMGosh, I keep those bags too, I thought I was the only one, some of them are so pretty that I just can't throw them away. My girlfriend just told me about new hangers that are felt and perfect for organizing the closet. I got mine at costco and I can't wait to start.
